A shape that prevents a part from being removed in the opening direction of a mold after molding. If a part has such a shape or a prong , the part cannot be removed in the opening direction.
Therefore, the undercut part needs to be removed by a mechanical method before removing the part from the mold.
This process is called the undercut process
